Uncompromising Care
On weekends and holidays--and from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM Monday through Friday--CJVES offers continuous patient monitoring, as well as urgent treatment and diagnostics.

Flexibility
We treat not only cats and dogs but also birds, small mammals, lizards, and other exotic pets.

Calling us ahead of time ensures even faster care. But even if you can't phone us beforehand, we'll work to accommodate you and your pet as soon as you reach our site.

Please note: cases are taken on both a triage and first-come-first-served basis.

About Us
Since 1981, Central Jersey VES has offered emergency veterinary services during overnight hours, weekends, and holidays—times when most animal clinics are closed. The Iselin, New Jersey practice, started by a group of local veterinarians, has grown to include eighteen veterinary partners.

Ready In a Crisis
Central Jersey VES is an emergency-care only facility, open from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM weekdays, and 24 hours each day on weekends and holidays. Its mission is to fill the gap created during regular veterinary practices' off hours.

Even if a crisis occurs at 3:00 AM, our doctors are standing by to aid your pet. And we'll provide reports to your referring veterinarian within 24 hours of the time your beloved companion is admitted to our site. Second only to providing the best care possible, our aim is to communicate openly and in a timely fashion, sharing important information and providing updates.

We can also monitor patients from other hospitals for 24-hour overnight care, after which time we refer those cases back to the original doctors.
